Dental treatment in filling up cavities in decayed teeth. Fillings ranges from silver, white and glass ionomer material. The choice of filling material to be used are discussed with the patients before treatment is done as advised by the doctor and agreed by the patient. Generally white fillings made of composite material are used for front teeth as the shade is better adapting to the natural colour of the surrounding teeth.
Root Canal Treatment
When the decay is too deep and involves the nerve, root canal treatment is vital in preserving the remaining teeth so it can continue to be used for chewing and display. Root canal treatment involves removal of nerve under anaesthesia so patient is pain free and the hollow canal is later filled with root filler to prevent infection of the tooth in the future.
