Dr Dzulkhaini Haji Husain

Dr Dzulkhaini graduated in 1969 from University of Singapore with Bachelors in Dental Surgery (BDS, S’pore). After serving several years in the government service (Ministry of Health), Dr Dzulkhaini pursued his dental fellowship in London, England and graduated in 1974 and obtained Fellowship of Dental Surgery (FDSRCS, London) from the Royal College of Dental Surgeon London. He then served as a Dental Specialist Officer in Perlis from 1974-1975.

As one of the earliest dental specialists in Malaysia then, Dr Dzulkhaini then decided to move into the academic field to inspire new dentists by joining the newly established then Dental Faculty in University of Malaya. He was a senior lecturer in the Department of Conservative Dentistry from 1975-1979.

In 1979, he moved to private practice and set up his first dental practice in Ampang Park Shopping Centre. As demand for dental treatment grew higher, he opened another branch in Damansara Utama within the same year.

Dr Dzulkhaini had been busy serving to protect and maintain the integrity of the dental profession in Malaysia over the years. He was in the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC) for 17 years from 1992 – 2009. He was also part of the Preliminary Investigation Committee (PIC), a special department of the MDC, which investigates and overlooks any professional misconduct in the dental arena in Malaysia for 17 years from 1994 – 2011.

Dr Anas Izwan Bin Dzulkhaini

Dr Anas graduated in 2003 from University of Malaya with Bachelors in Dental Surgery (BDS, Malaya). After serving his 3 years compulsory government service in the Ministry of Health Malaysia from 2003 – 2006, Dr Anas then shifted to private practice and worked with Dzul Dental Surgery until today. Within then, Dr Anas also continued with his postgraduate study in University of Marmara, Istanbul where he did his Masters in Orthodontics (MSc, Marmara) from 2009 – 2012. Dr Anas is currently the in-house Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur orthodontist. Dr Anas is very passionate in his airway driven orthodontics. Focusing on maintaining or increasing the existing airway volume in patients after orthodontic treatment is beneficial to prevent sleep apnoea, speech impairment and better long term stability. However, this requires less extraction of teeth and more challenging to align. He absolutely loves it. Dr Anas is a certified Clear Correct clear aligners provider. He has given lectures in local universities. He also has been an  invited speaker for local dental forums. He also contributes to local dental publication. Dr Anas is currently the key opinion leader for Solventum (previously known as 3M) and Clear Correct (Straumman). Dr Anas cannot say no to good coffee.

Dr Mohd Kamal Bin Shakimon

Dr Mohd Kamal received his bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur in 1990. After graduation, Dr Kamal immediately joined the dental private practice by being a member of Dzul Dental Specialists up until today. With vast experience over 34 years in the dental field, he has yet to decline any case that turns up. As a result, both he and Dr Dzul have managed to create a family oriented dental clinic in the past decades.

Strive to explore and enhance his skill and knowledge in dentistry, Dr Kamal attended many dental courses over the years. At present, he is now active in performing dental implants with the increasing demand of the society. He has performed more than 500 dental implants safely. 

Dr Norhazwani Binti Zul

Dr Norhazwani graduated from KLE VK Institute of Dental Sciences, Belgaum, India in 2020. She served in the Ministry of Health in Arau from 2021 to 2022 before joining dental private practice. Known for her strong patience and tolerance towards young patients, she is the to go dentist when young toddlers needs special assistance and dental care. Holds great interest in veneers, crowns and root canal therapy. She is actively involve in weekly community project offering dental services at Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur.
