Dental treatment in rehabilitating partial or complete missing teeth through surgical insertion of titanium dental implant into the jaw bone. The implant later usually will be connected to a dental crown or bridge to restore areas of missing teeth. This treatment is considered very conservative, as it usually does not involve other healthy teeth as opposed to dental bridges.
Dental implants may also be used for better support of removable prostheses such as dentures as it acts as an attaching medium to the prostheses in severely flat dental arches.
